Wilbe is a full-stack venture firm dedicated to scientists: entrepreneurship + business career resources, community, funding, and lab space, all in one place.

 

We started Wilbe to unlock and manage the most coveted stakeholder of progress and in venture capital: scientists. Scientists are behind the industrial solutions we need for this century, a talent pool overlooked by venture, academia, and corporate research.

 

A new generation of scientist founders is emerging; interdisciplinary, combining the best of science and engineering: who think and question like scientists and execute like engineers, who combine both disciplines to discover and achieve novel/ better outcomes to very large problems. With the pace of development in science and engineering, this is just the beginning.

 

At Wilbe, we have developed a way to identify and support high-performing scientist founders who are building the industries of the future. Through our flagship program, Bootcamp for Scientist Founders (BSF), we work with small cohorts of selected scientists and engineers at what is often the most pivotal point in their careers.
